Elegant, contemporary, upscale restaurant with thoughtful outdoor seating. Finally got the chance to dine here, and it did not disappoint. Ambiance is a high point, particularly outside. Got the Urfa kebob, ginger root soup, and of course, Turkish coffee. Soup was exceptionally tasty and nicely hot. Kebob was slightly dry, and plating was oddly unbalanced. Nonetheless, decent dish. Turkish coffee was on point. Would recommend and will be back to try other dishes.

Great place, awesome food awesome people! The music, bread, food and a cup of Turkish coffee, almost feels like you actually are in Turkey! The beyte kebab was specially super awesome with a perfect combo of juicy bready and meaty! Highly recommend the mezze sampler too! I also do recommend a reservation! The Mediterranean omelette had grilled veggies in it that tasted fresh out of wood smoke grill. Cleanness: clean Service: great Food: awesome Seating: indoor and outdoor Parking: easy scattered

The (new) owner is here to greet his guests with a big smile. Food is thoughtfully presented and very fresh and tasty. Many restaurants over-salt their dishes, but here it’s just right for me.

This place offers an incredible selection of delicious dishes! My favorites are the Beyti and Künefe – they’re absolutely amazing. On top of that, the owner is incredibly welcoming and provides excellent hospitality. Highly recommend this spot!

This is now my favorite Mediterranean restaurant. The decor is nice. My beautiful tomato and beet salad came from the garden of the owner, we were told. The ground chicken kebab was the best in my memory. The baklava was very good too. Our server was really nice.

What a wonderful experience from start to end. We arrived at an "odd" hour between lunch and dinner, when the street and restaurant was not crowded. We were seated and treated very well. Jess was our server and although she was new, her welcoming smile and courteous service was refreshingly pleasant. Our meal was excellent and the place was very clean. The male mustached manager was also very plesant. Our visit here could not have been any better....so a 5-star review is quite easy. I would, and will, gladly return here.

Came here on a Friday evening but luckily was a bit early so we were able to get seating outside since it was a nice September day. Staff was super friendly and attentive and offered to help us through the menu and offer suggestions. We ended up with the Beyti Kebab, which was excellent and glad we ordered it. The meat inside was tender and had a nice smoky taste to it. The lamb shank was fall off the bone as you'd expect it to be and the sauce was amazing as well. We actually liked the combination of the betyi kebab with the lamb sauce together. Gazpacho was an excellent addition as well since it was a bit warm out and really hit the spot. The bread as well as the hummus were great, especially the bread, so much so that we ended up asking for more bread to dip the sauces in! We have this on our short list of restaurants now to eat at in Los Altos and will definitely be back to eat through their menu!

Here’s a polished version that keeps your enthusiasm but tightens the flow: Six stars for Urfa — five for the exceptional food, ambiance, and overall experience, plus an extra star for truly outstanding hospitality. We keep coming back, and our go-to appetizers — the octopus and dolma — are always a hit. This time, we also tried the crab cakes, lamb kebabs, and ground chicken for our mains, all of which paired beautifully with the dips and spiced orzo rice. The desserts are divine — a small but thoughtfully curated selection. The kunafa is absolutely unforgettable, and the chocolate mousse and salted caramel chocolate are just as indulgent. I highly, highly recommend Urfa.

Urfa Bistro in Los Altos is a gem, authentic with generous hospitality and host touches everywhere: from the welcome by the staff, cloth napkins, clean tables, and clean bathrooms. They have patio seating front and back, I decided not to bring my dog and I’m glad I didn't. She would have been miserable watching me eat their lovely food. The food was flavorful and not overwhelming; everything was seasoned appropriately for the cuisine. The specials were unique to this area paired with a wonderful wine, beer and nonalcoholic list. We came for a relaxed lunch with 4 people June 2026 and we tasted the depth of their menu, everyone was happy. I had a white wine from Corsica with my grilled Branzino fish filet and a mixed green salad with a balance of light Mediterranean flavors including arugula, herbs, sliced almonds, couscous, figs, purple pickled red cabbage, white wine vinaigrette. These are the things I hope to find in a restaurant of this quality. Very lovely vibe.
